Directed by Steve Cisneros
From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat that they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas, he is certainly loads of fun. He turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure…but what will mum find when she gets home?

Sam Brock (Boy) is an actor, singer/songwriter, producer, casting assistant, and educator originally from a small town in Massachusetts. A proud alumni of the Pepperdine University Theatre Program, Sam has been passionate about performing arts since a young age. This marks Sam’s second show with Phantom Projects, where he previously played the role of Templeton in Charlotte’s Web. Thrilled to be back with his favorite theatre company, Sam feels right at home with the Phantom Projects family and is grateful to be part of such a supportive and creative community.
Casper Bryant (The Cat in the Hat) is ecstatic to be performing with The Phantom Projects as Cat in THE CAT IN THE HAT after playing Snoopy in A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS last year. Casper wants to thank everyone who has encouraged and challenged him to find a place back on stage. He dedicates his love and energy in this show to Oli. If it weren’t for them, Casper may never have found the courage to try again. Thanks kiddo! Love, Dad in the Hat.
Erica Colarusso (Fish) is a Los Angeles-based actress. Notable credits include: Ink & Paint (SheLA Festival), Adventure Ventures (YouTube Series), and various national commercials. This is her first production with Phantom Projects and she has enjoyed every minute. Thanks to the cast, crew, her husband, family and friends for the love and support.
Ale Cruz (Thing 1) is a bubbly and complex bilingual actor who started her career as a musical theater performer at the age of 8, in Lima, Peru. Her passion for storytelling and desire to connect the world through art, are the perfect combination for the boldness that shines through in every character and story she embodies. In addition to acting, Ale has an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University and co-founded an orphanage – in Peru – for little girls rescued from at-risk situations. Her mission is to use her storytelling abilities to lift and empower the voices of those whose voices aren’t heard or forgotten.
Bar Daniel (Sally) is beyond excited to make her Phantom Projects’ debut in “Cat In The Hat”! Some of Bar’s recent credits include: Maggie Winslow in “A Chorus Line” (Norris Theatre), Pattie alt/dance captain in “Beehive” (SVCAC) and Ivy Robinson in “Bare: in concert” (Revive Artists). She recently graduated with a BFA in Music Theatre from AMDA College.
Kristin Serena, Production Stage Manager: Kristin Serena is thrilled to be onboard with another adventure with Phantom Projects. She received her BS in Theatre Arts and Psychology from Bradley University, where she learned there’s no place she’d rather be than in a theatre with a headset. When she’s not stage managing with Phantom, she can be found backstage with the fantastic MikkoMia team assisting and coordinating on concerts for names like Danny Elfman and Seth MacFarlane, or building theatrical sets at AMDA. As of late, her stage management work includes Phantom Projects’ very own Matilda Jr., Sweeney Todd, Charlotte’s Web, Mariachi Girl, The Giver (2024), and Number the Stars (2023). She would like to thank her Phantom Phamily for yet another amazing experience, and Matthew for being her rock (and keeping her sane). I could not do any of this without you, thank you for your unwavering love and support on this adventure of life.
Julianna Rossi, Assistant Stage Manager: Julianna Rossi (Assistant Stage Manager) is excited to work on The Cat in the Hat as the production SM! Julianna starred in Phantom Projects’ #TheSocialMediaPlay (2023/2024) as Kris/Vanessa. Most of the time Julianna works as ASM with Phantom and has worked on the recent season of shows including Number the Stars (2023), The Giver (2024), Mariachi Girl (2024), Sweeney Todd (2024), Real Women Have Curves (2024) and Matilda (2024). Julianna looks to pursue a career in theatre and thanks her grandfather and family for the inspiration to do so! Julianna hopes to continue working with the amazing Phantom Projects team!
