This smash Off-Broadway hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where we meet Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy: four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts! As we learn about their lives and loves, the girls serenade us with classic ‘50s hits including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” and “Lipstick on Your Collar.” In Act II, the Wonderettes reunite to take the stage and perform at their ten-year reunion. We learn about the highs and lows the girls have experienced in the past decade and are charmed to find that no matter what life throws their way, they will conquer it together. Featuring over 30 classic ’50s and ’60s hits, The Marvelous Wonderettes will keep you smiling in this must-take musical trip down memory lane!

Meet the Cast
Dara Adedara (Betty Jean) is ecstatic to join Phantom Projects for the first time in the production of “The Marvelous Wonderettes”! She recently graduated from USC’s Theatre program where she really honed in her love for theatre. Her most notable roles are Audrey 2 Voice (Little Shop of Horrors), Odibei (Wedlock of the Gods), and Various roles in Twilight: Los Angeles 1992. While theatre and acting are her passions, she also loves to travel, bake, and spend a ridiculous amount of time with her friends & family! She is so excited for you all to come see the show opening in January!
Kaya Carr (Suzy) is incredibly excited to be back with The Phantom Projects Theatre for The Marvelous Wonderettes. Her past roles include Mrs Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Joanne (Rent), Camila (In the Heights), and Asaka (Once on this Island). Originally from the Bay Area, she loves working with kids and is an avid traveler who is always looking for the next adventure. Thank you to her friends and family (and the Carrpool Fan Club) for always showing up and supporting her. Enjoy the show!
Keira Weiss (Missy) is beyond excited to make her Phantom debut in The Marvelous Wonderettes! She is currently studying Musical Theatre at USC and has been actively involved in various stage productions, including starring as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and most recently played Mikayla in I Love Sorority Rush which premiered at the Broadwater. In addition to her background in Musical Theatre, she is also a classically trained Opera vocalist. In her free time, Keira enjoys learning new languages, and she is fluent in American Sign Language. She also loves rollerskating and Hot Yoga! Keira would like to thank her incredible parents for their unwavering love and support, without whom this journey would not be possible. Their encouragement and guidance continue to inspire her every day.
